FIRST PRIZE international competition

Within a program of spanish civil war historical memory, this piece was the winner in an international sculpture competition. Placed in AIETE PALACE in Sant Sebastien, Basque Country, the proposal wanted to tribute all the victims, name by name. This aim it was completely impossible to do in a proper way so finally the proposal was to name THOSE YEARS, that the dictature lasted. There is a kind of box where one wall is perforated with all of years from 1936 until 1975. Also there is a door that you can´t open, neither you can cross it, symbolizes the damage done.
